Mail-in Rebate

the GOP is thinking about issuing $100 checks to ease the burden of increasing tax prices. its being met with backlash all across the board. i kind of view this as congress' way of bribing us to stay quiet and let them do their "jobs" (ie fucking up america and destroying my future). unfortunately i can't rest all the blame on the GOP because apparently it was the democrats' idea to issue the checks, but bill frist's office did the calculations. either way it's a dumb idea. instead of paying off john q. public they should get off their ass and get serious about finding an alternative fuel source.
